Or in the case of Land Rover you pay through the nose for a product that is built as cheap as possible using poor quality parts.

Wildcard option - LHD is a bonus - something imported from the US perhaps? Lincoln Navigator?? (Keith - je connais bien maintenant la systeme d'immatriculation en France... je pense qu'il serait difficile mais pas impossible d'immatriculer une voiture americaine - un defi!)

Even the boss of Mercedes said they are crap in a TV interview and if you think parts are expensive for the L322, ask after Merc parts:eek::eek::eek:
Yes you can register a yank, not as hard as it used to be, took me 3 years to get the MR2 approved, but spares and repairs are a big problem for Yankee cars.

Mine sort of did. The seam at the front of the passenger footwell was parting. The throttle linkage was just above the split so when a passenger got in the revs increased. Just needed the right size passenger to set it as cruise control. 22 stone would have about right for 35 mph I reckon.
