Could someone tell me where the MAF sensor is located? Is this a picture or is it buried somewhere.

It was supposed to have been replaced last week along with the high pressure fuel pump but I have my doubts. I am visiting the dealer tomorrow and would like to have my facts right.

Incidently the engine management light is now on since this work has been done which it never has been in the two years we have owned the car.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Hi Dusty,

The pictures you gave are of the EGR valve.

Just took a couple of pictures to show where the MAF is located:

1. Engine bay as it was 5 minutes ago (with sound cover over the engine)

And here picture two where the MAF is located: (Pse note I removed the soundcover as otherwise the MAF not visible, as yours has no such cover you should be able to see the MAF. The yellow thing you see on the right is the oil filler cap, this will facilitate things for you to locate the MAF. Cheers.)

Thanks Guys,
I've checked that and it is a new one, so I feel better about that. I'm taking it into the dealer tomorrow so I'll let you know how it goes....

Hi dusty you have 2 fuel pumps on that model 1 in the right hand side engine bay that being right hand drive and the other pump is located in the fuel tank, the 1 in the wing which also houses your fuel filter, hope this helps tiga
