Pretty self explanatory question really! - I've got two JATE rings i want to mount on the front of my Series 2a / Series 3. The only place i can see to mount them is where the front leaf springs bolt on to the chassis, problem with that is the bolts which came with the JATE rings are substationally smaller (in diameter) than the bolts for the suspension.
I could go down the route of drilling the holes bigger on the JATE rings and then have to touch up the galvanising and put them on the current suspension bolts - or use much smaller bolts for the suspension - but this doesn't seem sensible to me?
The bolt holes in the chassis further back from the suspension mounts are in use holding the front guard in place...
