where can i get a spare key

i have lost the key blade out of the key fob.landrover want to charge me 100 pounds + for the fob and new key,when all i need is the blade.they say that they only sell them as a unit together.
can anbody tell me if there are some people out ther via the internet or a shop in manchester area where i can get a blade only...thanks

I take it you still have another key?

Take that to Timpsons and get them to cut you a new key, it will be on a normal key head but that just means you need to have it tied to the fob.

yes i do still have a key.the wife has lent it to me but wants it back(dont think she trusts me with it)

the blade is a standard rover maestro type , available from most key cutters for a couple of quid , but the shaped bit of plastic you need on the disco blade so it snaps into place within the fob is obviously not on the maestro one.

or you could , as suggested , just strap the old fob to the new key if you are really tight !
