where are you!

afternoon newbies.
i'm bored at work so i thought i'd set up a map for this forum. follow the link, and create a placemark of where you are. put your username in the title box, and tell us what you drive in the description. this could be a good way in seeing other froum users around where you live.

if it takes off maybe the LZ webmaster could host one. he could use google maps and just pull the users "location" infomation.

anyway, lets see if it takes off first, pass the word if you can.

ummmm frapper aint actually that good it seems. a few of you have signed up, but having real problems with its useability.

you can only place one pin, which is crap, does anyone else know how to do an online map where anyone can put pins anywhere, and more than one?

else its google earth and then we'd have to start shareing files, and thats where everyone gets all confused.

it would be nice for other users to see who's around them, pass on infomation about local garages and places to play.

can anyone think of anything?

why not just have a bit in yer profile where you put yer location?

do you think we could do that







surly a map you could look at would be nicer. afterall, what are you going to do, trawl through all 30 odd thousend profiles to find a few locals. embrace the future slob. by the way, that is a pretty sweet telly./

aye ah see yer point, so when yer gonna find a map thingy that works? or do we have to wait till we get to the future?
in the mean time yer can just do a fred like " who lives near boscomb" or wherevva yer happen to be. that way those that chose to let yer know can do and if them dint them wint
