Yeah, to be honest it's in a stupid position and i'm lookin at gettin rid of it as soon as i can work out how best to re-flow the air intake for a snorkel.

Also alloys are **** really, i would much rather have some decent 8's or steels but the tryes are nearly new so got a bit of a way to go before i can justify the change - then the alloys will be straight on fleabag!

Hey you can sell them to me then.

I'd rather keep the 265s cheers, speshly if i'm gonna gerra lift at some point...might go a bit bigger, give me a chance ter get rid o the things...gorra check me numbers first though :D:D:D

The official line from Land Rover is that you should not (presumably it is dangerous) fit alloys to a Defender unless you studs are markesd, either with a diagonal line across them or a triangle. I believe that coincides with fitting discs to the back.
There may be insurance implications, apart from a risk of wheel/hub/stud failure, if you ignore this advise.
Just because something appears to fit it doesn't mean you are not put items under strains they were not designed to take. Just because someone else has got away with it for years doesn't mean you will.
