I have to admit to watching all those types of shows Fast and Loud is good as is Fantom works, Chasing Classic Cars, Desert car Kings, There used to be an off road show with that x rally guy cant remember his name though, but all good fun even if they are staged a bit, better than some other ****e they put on lol

Have been re-watching 'a 4x4 is born' too, seems okay so far. Quite informative tbh.[/quote]

I like that series,
I dont like the heavy wood flooring and checker plate in the tub on the finished motor,I think it would have looked better in just that nice blue paint

Its allso well presented in my opinion

chasing classic cars is ok if a bit dull , he has some nice cars . fast and loud is probably the most realistic regarding prices as he does lose money on quite a few

The "is Born series are all pretty good to be fair. Terrible jokes aside, at least they show you the hands on work and seem to have useful people on hand to advise them.

I just watched a wheeler dealers repeat of a repeat etc

It was the élan

Ed did most if not all of the prep work

Then at the end the said the respray cost £2300

#### me I'm n the wrong business, £2300 for spraying the paint when somebody else does all the hard work

Paul, who apparently is unable to speak is the "technical" director or the like, Paul has eBay account where strangely some of the cars appear a year or so later for sale, in the early days crew members were the buyers on camera.

Ed works for sexual favours from Mike, as labour costs according to them are nil.

I don't mind the show, it's just an entertainment show, it's on the fringes of reality when it comes to cost, oh, one thing that I hate about the show is where Ed fits a nice new shiny part, only then to refit it with the old rusty bolts/ screws.

Best episode was the Capri on series one, where his respray quality was that of a blind man.

Haha. Since then, all he seems to paint himself is satin black. Everything else goes to a painter.

It annoys me that all the interesting jobs go to a specialist i.e. gearbox work, head rebuilds etc.

Also they must have made a bulk purchase on black paint for the alloys, All the latest ones I've seen every car got black alloys and it looks ****e
