gents - i have a set of 1987 wings and spats.

i bought a bag of AFU 1075 spat clips.

there is no way these are going to fit - even with the pin removed they havnt a hope of going throughthe drilling in the wing.

did LR change the size of these over the years ? is the solution just to drill the wing to suit the new ones ?

tempted just to rivet/bolt them inplace....its not like those stupid clips were user friendly anyway.

Mine are riveted. I know for sure I am going to regret that in the future, but the stupid little plastic rivets would not stay in at all.
