wheel nuts

what i meant was if i got a puncture and had to replace one of the alloys with the steel spare do i use the same nuts that held the alloy on. sisrers just bought one d2 that is and asked me this question but being a tratter driver i dont know

Still NO the nut for alloy and steel are different if u don't have steel wheel nuts then u need to find five.
Maybe u can use alloy wheel nuts in an emergency not an issue for me as have an alloy spare so don't realy know, how come u have a steel spare?
 
dont know why a steel spare.brother in law bought it probably just checked paintwork for scratces.he never had the cover off to check the tyre,theyre away to holland soon in it and asked me to give it a quick check out and service.i knew some alloy nuts on the d1 were no good for the steels but wasnt sure about these, and being half way through an engine swap in the fender i couldnt be arsed at the time. its now booked in at the local indy for service, thank for your help
 
I remember when I used to work on D2 assembly line, they did fit steel spares to some cars,(rarely), I couldn't understand why, even our managers couldn't, but that was what the build card asked for, so it was ordered by the customer
