Wheel moving

Had a knocking noise from the front on full lock for quite a while so thought CV joints need to be done eventually
While changing wheels tonight found quite a bit of play on the front offside when jacked up!!! wheel feels pretty loose and not very secure!!! seems to be a lot of play at what looks like the big swivel ball part thingy
Any ideas would be very welcome and would this be a fairly easy diy fix??????

could be swivel bearings (top and bottom) or wheel bearings...
