Wheel judder when turning

Hi y'all,

I've just picked up a '54 plate Freelander Facelift Td4, which is lovely, but when you put full right lock on there's a 'judder' from the front left wheel. Any thoughts what this could be ? I'm hoping it's not a classic indicator of diff problems.

could be vcu, ird of course

I haven't noticed it on the opposite lock. Having just read some of the VCU possts though, I'm going to get it checked over.

i have the same on mine same year also.My front tyres are down due to a tracking error (sorted now)and the right passenger is worse than the drivers but they are down to about 4mm,back ones are sitting at about 8mm. Anyway have ordered 2 new front Bridgestones to match the rear but gonna put the new ones on the rear.I hope this is the cause of mine will post after they go on and let you know. Ps whats your tyres like.

PS, an update on this - it turned out to be the prop shaft mountings either side of the VCU. Had 'em both changed for £250 and not a sniff of problem since.

Mine started doing this since changing them, doesn't overly bother me so no changed em.
