Hi Chaps,

I have a 99 4.6 HSE with a set of Triple Sports fitted.

I'm fancying a set of Hurricane wheels (I'm sure the same as everyone!) but I've come across the 19" standard wheel from a Range Rover sport that seem to be plentyful and cheap.

Will they fit? Or am I best staying at an 18" wheel with the hurricane (I'm assuming they will be a bolt on fit etc)

For good measure a couple of pictures of the old girl :)

You will need spigot rings to mate L322 wheels to your hubs and new wheel nuts. Nut size depends on year of wheels you get. Think 20 mm 2002 to 2006 and 22.5 mm after that. Something like that.

Ahh sounds like more work than I can be bothered with. I'm assuming the Hurricanes will just fit with the existing wheel nuts etc? I'm up in Lancaster btw!

Another question, could someone tell me what colour the old girl is? Not seen another one in this colour and I could do with another upper tailgate as the tin worm has started to nibble into it in places.

Lad gave me some 19" off his L322 Vogue with good tyres so i fitted them, about £70.00 or £80.00 for nuts spigots and lock nuts as i recall. Looks a bit more balanced as opposed to the 16" ones i think. But your wheels look fine why bother.

Thanks guys, will try with the vin plate. I don't mind the triple sports on it just always prefer'd hurricanes.

The wheels you have are nice IMO and much easier to clean than hurricanes but if you need getting rid I will take them:)

If u have any trouble let me know the code and I'll get the colour. If u can't find a matching one I'm sure I can paint one for you

Haha thanks. Someone told me to change them the other day saying they were "**** freelander wheels" I did explain they were 18's and OEM but there we go!

I'm not meant to be spending any money on the rangie as it was bought as a winter runner but its actually a little diamond bought for a song and has been reliable as my wood burning stove. (Probably spoke to soon!)

I have an E39 M5 as well which I need to do a muffler delete on to free up some vocals so I think I'll leave the wheels for a bit.

It's a p38. Your gonna spend money on it lol

I thought someone was going to say that! I will be honest, ive done compressor seals, relay number 5 and a vacuum hose on the cruise.

Still need to change the bulbs on the HVAC control panel and change the window switch control panel (have the bits) as the passenger switch is a bit dicky. Thank god lazy locking works!

Oh and a second key when I get a minute!

I think they might have come from an L322. How do I tell? Not that I care really but might be something for the OP to be aware of.

The L332 has a larger hub mounting spigot that the wheel sits on. L322 wheels will fit a P38 but will rattle around if you do not fit spigots to reduce the wheel inner diameter. P38 wheels will not fit onto a L322.
