P38A Wheel fit or spacesaver

Just had a thought... hopefully fetching a spare hurricane alloy fer me new , but with no spare wheel,2001 RR tomorrow.. the wheel has the standard 255 x18 tyre on which I'll be renewing along with the other 4.
Looking at the spare wheel well, it looks not quite deep enough? It's too hot to mess about removing a wheel orf the bus and trying it so I thought I'd ask you lot to confirm.
The heat is giving me a right headache as well as minging pits.

I have all spares the same as road in the P38/L322.
@Henry_b has bad wind on his don't he, maybe he will confirm

I have a 255/65R16 in my spare wheel well with plenty of room. Can't see 255/55R18 would be much different. They are stock sizes

255/55 R18 will fit. Should be a polystyrene think in there with bottle jack, wheel-chocks and a wheel-brace.

Yeah, got that. 2 wheel chocks, wheel brace, jack and a 2 part 'andle.

A full size 18" wheel will fit.

I have 18in Hurricane wheels on mine and the spare fits the wheel well
