Wheel bearing grease/oil ?????

Hi guys while still search for my wheel wobble issue i stripped out the drivers side hub and saw firstly .....

Which I thought was strange as I was expecting grease not oil as I'm in the front of the hub I no the diff has oil but there is no where oil can get to where I am but them found this.....

The fluid on the ground is what was in my wheel bearing now I think it is melted grease as in the wrong melting point grease was used does this sound likely to any one else ?
The wheel wobble issue I have now found was on the other side swivel bearings shaking n/s wheel enough to make me think it was drivers side as drivers side has no play but n/s does !
What size the the nut in the second photo I can't find out and I want to strip out wheel bearings and check them while I'm fixing stuff down there

no its oil ,bearings do now run in grease and seal on rear of hub is a grease seal not an oil seal it has no garter spring, oil leaks down stub axle through poor seals ,but on the positive as long as its not leaking out of hub it lubricates splines on shaft and drive member and stops them wearing ,refit bearings with grease but dont over pack need air space

So now I've repacked with grease I need to top up oil around the swivel ?

I give just enough to be helpfull, unlike you hoping to become some sort of forum god. Do you have any other interests in life, or a social life.

Hi quick update started to check the bearings on the n/s and found I have more work than I thought seal on the swivel is shot this happened when I jacked it up .........
Just ordering seals an bearings to do the job I can only find swivel grease not oil or is just diff oil in there ?

if it leaked out when you jacked axle up it means swivels are loose they will either just need shim removing or too worn and replacing ,you never need to undo or remove bottom pin ,everthing can be removed /replaced with it in place ,i would strip back from outer side and check them at same time as doing seal

are you sure you do,lots of interests lots of friends,some people seem to have a problem with someone having more knowledge than them is it jealousy or are you simply a knob

Bearing in the top is well gone taking shims out didn't make a difference and bearing feels like it's seized up a treat
