-is it any of 'our' chaps?

Not far from Hatton of Fintray, about 10 miles out of town, in the sticks a bit, don't like neighbours. I have a little bit of space and have been contemplating making a bit of an off road track but think it would get a bit boring a bit quick and would probably cost a fortune.

Need to go a bit further North to get more realistic house prices, we are not as much as Deeside but I am always amazed how cheap it is North of Oldmeldrum.
I have been here for over 20 years so current house prices don't really affect me as I am going nowhere

Not seen the bobtail but will keep an eye out.

Bug Stomper, like it, trying to think of something amusing. Got it all fitted but decided to mount the antenna on the bonnet instead of the roof rack so am just waiting for the correct mount to arrive. It's all wired in just waiting for the mount then I will hopefully get it set up and get it into use.

Dyce Dodger.

You'd be better off mounting your twig as high as possible. The bodywork interferes with transmit/receive if it's on the bonnet or one of the wings.

Holes are drilled for the wing now so that's where it will start, put it two feet in front of the windscreen as recommended so hopefully be ok. If it doesn't work it will get moved but have wired it in now with an additional earth strap to the chassis.
