Bastid offside headlight's out. Yes I mean that literally. Gotta now hunt round for some cable ties,a bulb and the beam setter when I should be going home and finding beer! gr.
 
Lost the rear exhaust pipe box the other week, the front number plate fell of when I pulled into a petrol station behind a police BMW. Tax disk fell off into the gap between the dash and the window, just before I filled up with diesel. Was a good chat with the old bill.

Roof leaks, roof lining in front room now, front bumper bent, cruise control fobar.

I think that's it.

Sorry forgot the battery holder plate and bolts not broken, just not there?
 
Passenger-side front window comes off it's runner.
Rear locks don't work, and when they do there's no rhyme or reason to what they think they're doing.
Oil-leak. Either rocker gasket, sump gasket or both.
Water-leak. Top rad hose, from where I changed the water pump the other day.
Noisey gearbox.
Driver's-side cill will need welding for next MOT.
Passenger-side front indicator not working. Needs new bulb. CBA to fit it.
Alpine lights leak. Lots.

I think that's about it... Possibly.
 
####ing hell these cars are ****!!!

Absolutely diabolical constant list of ever evolving repairs to do.

One could get quite ****ed off, it is ridiculous how much I repair my car.

It never stops!!!!! AAAAAAAARGH!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
My main issue and the one that's mega mega ####in me off is my drivers doors dropped and it's annoying the #### outa me, xouple of new hinges required me thinks

Hole in drivers footwell.
Gearbox oil needs changing
Tranfer box oil needs changing
Front diff oil needs changing
Rear diff oil needs changing
Reverse light switch needs replacing
Rear windows only open when there is a full moon


I have no welding experience at the moment but im going to start my own thread as soon as i have got myself some welding gear and had a bit of practice on some scrap bits (yes i know my disco probabbly qualifies as scrap)

I suppose i should scrap it but i love the bastard thing too much.

Oh and i forgot about the central locking not working and the tailgate door seal leaks at the top.

Just stick a jack under the end of the door with the door nearly closed so that the jack is as close to the car as possible and then rock the car or jump up and down on your tree bars.

This bends the hinges slightly taking up that droop.

Old fashioned tricks o't trade :)

Just bought 4 mint door hinges of eBay 20quid yeeeeeeesssssss
 
Up until last night not a thing wrong, all the electric gizmos worked, seats,sunroofs, windows the lot....then driving along last night the (standard factory fitted) stereo started cutting out and coming back on which then resulted in smoke billowing out from behind the dash...then flames and then some more flames from various parts of the loom... by this time I had gtfo (got the f**k out!). Within a minute the interior was well away all I could do was call the fire brigade and watch "the fire in the disco" 15 minutes of disco 2 barbeque the fire team arrived and put it out.
I havent looked closely at the burnt out hulk but I expect the "to do" list to be a big un!!
