that was my disco, bort it cos it was cheap and i was on crutches with a bosted left ankle so the auto was handy, great motor to drive btw so much so id consider swappingmy r/r for one thats gassed up

nathan when i said its a bad bodge its because its the wrong tow ball bodged into the socket on the detachable tow bar,thats all.

it doesnt appear to be the wrong tow ball, it fits snug in the thing it fits in, what ball is the right one?

nathan look at the thing,round hole/square peg springs to mind,its the wrong tow ball and spigot for the tow bar.

i see ur point but the end of the tow ball fits inside the hole snug with no play you cant see the inside of the hole, i'll take the thing out 2moro if i get chance and have a good luck

dunno,what make of tow bar is it,should be on there somewhere mate,if its a gen r/rover one theres some on fleabay,but dont bother i will do it when i get it home.
