Does anyone know what this switch does? I flicked it on and off, but cant see that it does anything???,, Its in the panel underneath the steering wheel on a 3.9 V8 ES.
Whats this switch do??

Right. That is not OE part. Follow the wires and see where and what do they lead to.

LOL @ the ejector seat!! would be nice! lol,,, yeah I figured it wasnt OE, it starts with it in either postion, so thats the immobiliser out,,, and Im sure the alarm works both ways too,,, oh well,,, looks like i gotta trace some wires!!!

it does work, you just have to reconnect it to the 'engine switch off' system, its located just behind the 'empty wallet' thingy 'm jiggy....

Can I get one of these fitted as an aftermarket accessory??
, although I di find another similar switch on my V8i, its on the right of the steering column, and if I don't put a key in it, my MPG is fantastic .cipx2

Sure you can. Look under ''engines" section. They're called "Tdi's".
yeah, but I like to do 0-60 in less that 3 weeks
