What's this off?

Whilst greasing the nipples, I found this jammed on the transfer box. Had a look around but can't find where it would go - any ideas?

m10 ?could have been used as a guide ,apart from that not std

Hi James, I think the threads are m6. The whole thing is about 40mm long. I might have picked it up off the road but wasn't sure.

battery clamp bolt with head pulled off?
pivot for diff lock linkage with clevis head snapped off?
