Not sure what V and what o rings and hopefully you used a new pump gasket mate
The belt should be tight from refitting , did you follow the rave tensioner instruction ?
 
I meant to o rings that go over the two pipes that go through the V... changed them and tensioned up it is a bit awkward though so only put as much tension as I could on...

On the other problem.. since the water pump no engine light... I’m not suggesting for one minute they are connected, but I think today’s issue may be it is idling so low when in drive it’s randomly stalling ... maf related?
 
The o rings sit in a groove in the manifold from memory and tensioning is a bit awkward from memory.
What diagnostic kit are you using ?
Idling low could be air leak
 
I was just mentioning to buy the orings in the pump as I seems to think it said you could reuse them but mine were bad. I also meant as I pulled the old pipe out the oring at the back I put gasket sealant on so it sealed well still although it was very tight which is good.

Yes this bloody air leak or sensor problem.

I have a snap on solus pro. If I disconnect the maf it runs ok - no one can seem to tell me if that’s an indication of bad maf or it runs a different map of its doesn’t see the maf so it’s not comparable? Cheers
 
I bought a maf and stuck it on mine when i thought it was suspect, didn't make any difference though, buy one from eurocarparts and take it back if it doesn't fix it:)
 
One bank was misfiring correct but both had mixture issues.. misfire has gone - yesterday as said it was idling so low it was stalling all day. Today the opposite it idled at 900rpm all day in park no idea what that’s telling me maf or something else. Also engine light was on this morning but by the time I got home it had gone out again grrr
 
low idle i would say air leak or maf maybe, high idle i would say low battery
Can you get it on some more landrover friendly diagnostics?
 
If battery is low it should run at higher idle until it’s happy with battery charge.
Have you checked for air leaks with carb cleaner?
 
Hi sorry not yet had house problems which I’ve taken priority. I will say this though, the engine light hasn’t been on for well over a week, misfires longer ago. This evening started from cold and was heavily misfired with a solid engine light I put in referees ot nearly stalled misfiring while reversing and the engine light flashed I then put it into drive revs over 1000 and smooth as bitter again. Pulled to a stop 3 miles later perfect idle ?
 
What does your diagnostic say ?
You need to clear faults and as soon as you get an engine light re scan and see whats coming up.
I am suspecting my CATS are up to something at the moment which can cause faults at various temperatures which I normally cure with some spirited driving.

i have to ask, are you typing on your phone using predictive text or have you lost your glasses / drank from too many? Either that or you are being possessed by Stanley Unwin :)
 
Morning pulled the codes before work,

It has - multiple cylinder misfire
Misfire cylinder 1
Misfire cylinder 2
Multiple fuel trim 2 limit reached

Any ideas off that?
