whats this for in engine bay???

right whats this as looking in from the front you have airbox then roughly next up is the eas box then like a throttle bit then behind that at bulkhead theres a black plastic thing with purge on it and 2 pipes going in top and like a vacuum on side???
what is this as i just replaced a couple of pipes at the t piece that were totally slpit

Cruise Control actuator. If you follow the cable coming out out of the left hand side, it should connect to the throttle.
 
I'm not sick of you asking. Means others can learn along with you. Only reason I know it's the actuator is because I had a CC problem and had to look it up.
 
its just the t piece on right of it the pipes were all split so i replaced them was just wondering if it might have had any effect with the driving/running probably not thanks!!
 
Don't worry, no matter how how trivial you think a question is, just ask it, as there is always someone here who will help. And it helps other people too.

There are some that people may take the pi@@ but
 
Your cruise controll prob didnt work before you replaced the broken pipes. But now you have fixed them your cruise should all work ok.
 
Never stop asking questions, photos do help. I've just moved up to to a P38, and they are a different ball game to the RRC.
