no its not G-army....
i would say its all factory finished....

it's just typical LR. They kept bringing in mods that just knackered up other parts of the vehicle. All that's in there is storage space that's not accessable. If you'd really like to use it you'll have to lower the seats. Slacken the bolts into the seat a couple of turns(DON'T remove them or you'll lose the floating plate), then remove the bolts securing the same brackets to the rear baulkhead and the seats will fold forward. Just remember that what you put in there will shake,rattle n roll!

I think its a storage locker as described in project pilgrim in LR Monthly .

could you not replace the bolts that hold the seats on the front edge with something like clevis pins? and able to flip the seats backwards
