whats it worth please?

I wonder if you can help me with a question please?

I wish to sell my current Land Rover Defender 90 (TD5). 2.5 engine (diesel). 2001 (Y) and has about 36.000 miles on the clock. Dark Green colour and in very good condition as its rarely used. It has windows in the back, two doors, plus the rear boot door. Hard top. The tires seem slightly larger than normal.

Would anyone be able to give me an idea of how much this is worth? I have asked several dealers but they have all given me very different ideas. I have had a look around, and rarely find the same car with similar miles on the clock.

I'm not able to take it to a dealer, as I currently have it off the road (nothing wrong with it at all, I just don't want the extra bills while not in use).

Any information on its value would be very much appreciated.

Look on Ebay. ??

Its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

Without pictures its also difficult to say.

And you will also get differing views here..

Go on ebay...see what they are going for in auction and buy it now price...compare your spec with them and get a rough average...

Tried eBay for the past week or so, but theres never a good match (not yet at least). The closest I can find at a dealer is £13000 - £14K.

a quick look on ebay there are a few 2001 models with for £6500 to £10000 depending on mileage type and spec. £13000 - £14k is a bit far fetched

Thank you. I did spot a similar one that time (I may have searched wrongly last time). I would add more details, but im pretty much clueless about cars to be honest. I appreciate the help.
