You wouldn't have to. I have never looked at another forum, let alone becoming a member.

And why should you? A forum is a commercial venture, none of us would come on another forum and talk about how great lz is, because it would be like advertising our forum on your own platform.

Rude, I think.
 
i made 85 posts in the last couple of weeks, answering questions and getting involved and will be using both forums, is that ok ?
 
There is one thing that unites us all no matter what forum preference individuals have and that is our liking of Land Rovers. I don't see this as a competition thing between forums - I doubt the sponsors would either?!
I use 3 forums and each are very different in style - I have certain preferences depending on what my post is and sometimes what mood I'm in.
All various forum members are welcome at all public Land Rover events that I've been to and I think it's a shame that forums can be perceived to be a private club by some. I frequent Landy Zone regularly but like to think of it as a pub which welcomes strangers and occasional visitors too as well as the noisy regulars :)
Because life is too short ;-)
 
I don't think that ramping up an 'us' and 'them' attitude is very helpful to anyone.

This is LZAG and taking offence at anything isn't advised unless you're prepared to roll yer sleeves up and get stuck in :)

Or at least be suitably attired for a dramatic flounce :p

I find a flickable fringe helps :D

I don't think it was ever suggested that you couldn't. Anyone can join, and post, it is a free forum.

What several, including myself, and the guvnor, have hinted at, is that evangelising another forum on lz may not be very tactful! ;)

I am sure if the owners, moderators or sponsors are offended, they will let you know all about it. For the rest of us, it is no skin off our nose, but we are used to taking the pee out of everyone, and have done so for years! :)

Maybe it should be in AG, so everyone can have a proper flounce if they feel like it? :)
