whats good tread on a used tyre????

Looking at my options for some new tyres, looking at some part worns, alot seem to have 5-7mm left on em, not my ATs have this, and I was thinking its getting low for laning, or am I way off and I have loads of life left in them yet??

whenI do change I am looking to get a slightly more aggressive tyre, but im not asking aboot that

not sure yet, little as possible

looking at what the prices are first, then Ill sort out a reasonable budget,
looking at 235/85/16s, unless I find a tidy package to let me go a tad wider, Im on standard rims atm.
Was kinda hoping on between £3-400 for all 4, mebbe max £500 with rims. will also look at remoulds, the ones that are on are, not had a problem, and I'm not generally motorway stomping.

500 quid was what i pad for 4 tires n rims new delivered fitted and balanced. I reckon youd get some decent ines for that money.

Man you could get new tyres for that money. I was quite impressed with blackcircles.com. They've got a massive range of tyres and most within your price range. Option to pay monthly too if you want

That money was for new, not used, if id been getting used, id be hoping to pay less than that

will have a look, if I can get a wheel/tyre package, Ill step up a width, no more though, dont wanna have to loose lock.

I used silverline. Website seemed ok i picked a set then tried to phone it through but the geezer talked me out of it and offered what he had on his disco(for me classic) they were cheaper and a touch bigger than what chose.

Another good one that my mate uses a lot is camskill.net. I ordered tyres for a car off there before and they arrived very very quickly. Not as wide a range of 4x4 tyres as blackcircles have though
