I'm a bit reluctant to go for poly on mine with the exception of ARB bushes, the rear trailing arm bushes and the front diff mount, all of which I feel benefit from the tougher material. Any others, I've gone for rubber/standard to avoid too much noise/vibration. Just my own preference really. Not much science involved.

ok....What about vibrations does increase?
I also found the lower an upper engine mounts ....is it worth it?
The front suspension was a little more harsh, but it made a big difference to the handling and directional stability. I didn't notice anything unpleasant with the rear suspension, it felt well planted.
I'd not use poly on the engine mounts though, as the vibration from the engine is very noticeable.
