What Winch ?

Before I finally buy I wanted to check what people think about the winch I will probably go for. I've got a 90 and I use it 80% off road, 20% on road.
My budget is £500 max and I'll fit myself.
I'm pretty much decided on a Warrior Samurai S9500 with a synthetic rope.
What do you think ?

Lot of people will tell you to buy a Warn and only a Warn but I have a Winchmax 13000. Have had it for nearly two years, used it lots and had no trouble at all. It came with two wireless controllers and a wired one. The wireless work from what must be 50 yards away so you can roll out the full length of the cable by holding the end, pressing the out button and walking.
From what I have seen the Warrior is a very similar product. As long as you are not dragging 9ton field guns about I am sure it will be fine.

+1 On Winchmax, mate of mine has one, 2/3 years never serviced, just cleaned occasionally, served very well.

All comes down to what you need it for the above will suit you fine from the sounds of it.
