Hi all,

Just picked up a freelander and it's needing new tyres. Wanting to put some bigger tyres on it but will only be doing light offloading so probably don't need AT tyres.

Any recommendations? Tyres are 225/55/17

Cheers

235-55-17 is a good size to fit. I'd go for Pirelli Scorpion STRs for road use with mild off road abilities. Make you replace all 5 to avoid any drive train dramas.

I think it depends on how much you have to spend but if you can go for a well known brand I had goodyear wranglers on my old td4 2001 but on this one I have Michelin latitudes as my tyre place could not get hold of the goodyear wranglers at the time which I might go back to if you get a good tyre make sure they have m/s for mud and snow these will also be good on dry roads but all this is of course upto you and you need all the same tyres all round.
hope this helps
