This night a friend of mine had an accident with his Freelander ...
He got hit by Fiat Bravo on rear left hand side (driver side) ...

Can we presume that rear shaft and then rear diff to have some damage?
He will not pay for repair ... Insurance of other driver will pay ...
So that's way I am asking if he can claim also rear diff and VCU because of that?
He sad that car is driving normally, but still he is not sure what can be hidden damage ...
