what to look for in a 200tdi , Help Please !!!

hey , i have stripped my ninety down to chassis and will be throwing a 200tdi engine in it when its built back up , im going to refurbish whatever engine i get , and theres one from a disco down in the local scrapyard but has 197k miles on it should i hold out for an engine with less mileage or should i pick that one . also will the brakes and hubs from the disco fit the ninety , and what else should i get for the conversion besides the exhaust .

The 200 tdi motor is strong enough to be barely run in by then, and if ya refurbing it you can get it sorted any ways.

While you're at the scrappers grab the rear axle off the disco for your 90, its a straight swap, that will fettle the rear brakes, the fronts can be sorted by using the calipers from a 110 defender.

Apart from the pipework for the rad n intercooler its a straight swap.

and the air intake's a bit of a fiddle.
