haha i will use a six sided socket when i go back out might even treat it to an actual 9/16. but what im trying to work out is the deal with the stud coming out not the nut coming off! the 4 im on about are clearly stud and nut lol

also for the record was open end spanner :p my ratchet end wouldnt fit haha

1/4 inch extensions are not a problem or the adapters if i wish to use the bigger bars further down the line and if i really want there is always the impact gun lol. im not concerned about getting them out im concerned that i have no idea if taking the studs out instead of the nuts off will be an issue or are they just like most the studs on the block if they come out clean them remove the nut and put them back (or be lazy and put them back in the one they came from with the nut on like a bolt lol)

ceffyn IF they are studs I will stand on mi head at the top of a Welsh Hill & Pi*s Paraffin !
you sir are a legend went back out to remove the one i thought was a damn stud can see now what you mean its a bolt from the inside with something to retain it lmao i was tuning the "play" it had and thinking it was coming out.

gonna stay silent now while i find my 6 side because this time the tool that was an issue was me not a metal object in my tool box haha

after much fighting got the damn thing off one of the nuts is shredded (anyone know what size and where i can get one). had to get it with a spanner in the end.

took it for test drive and the clunk/problem is very much still there front prop not being taken off yet though cause as usual its raining again here :(

ok so the obvious i have to remove the drum to get in and change the bolts but how much of a pain in the ass is changing them actually going to be!
fighting a never ending battle and losing at the moment so might as well be prepared for the worse case.
