What temp gauge everyone using?

Having problems with my original temp gauge so installed a durite electric gauge in the end, 2 gauges later and it’s playing up jumping up to 50 soon as ignition is turned on so now I don’t trust the gauge. going to give in a go with a different brand, so what is everyone using?

What is it? Series, Defender, Disco....?
Did you buy just the Durite gauge or both the gauge and matched sensor? If the gauge and sensor are not matched you'll get erroneous readings.
If you know that the sensor for the gauge is the correct one, check the sender and the gauge for any earthing issues.
I use an VDO electric water temp gauge.

Sounds more like an earth issue than a problem with the gauge.

I use a durite capillary gauge for years now and had no issues
