be careful with that axe & knife. make sure there's in a toolbox or similar in a part of the vehicle that can't be accessed from the passenger area.. Or ya could find yaself having a long and tiresome conversation with Plod.

They have their own special bag in the boot, with the towing strop. And all the other crap. Good job they can't see my .50cal...............

I've got one of those 35 ltr plastic boxes stuffed with 2 sets of jump leads, shiny new roll of rope (200m), 1" paintbrush?, 4 ltrs of oil, torque wrench, hi vis and a few packs of flash wipes.
Then theres me tools - full socket set, few rolls of gaffer tape, various long screwdrivers, lots of long nose pliers and randomly, copper pipe self amalgamating repair tape?!?
In my scout bag (as I'm a scout leader), various penknives, stanley knives, few axes, and saws, small gas bottles and stove, trangia and meths, and some fire lighting gear.
Loose in the boot - small shovel that a dwarf would be proud of, snow brush and ice scraper, 2x 3 ton axle stands. Roll of recycling sacks and a dozen 2.4x2.4 tarps.
Elsewhere in the landy - TV and DAB radio for the wait, oh and the seemingly obligatory choccy!

^^^^#### me that's impressive^^^^^

Now don't laugh, but.............

Up until recently I had nothing other than a small jack, breaker bar and wheel nut socket (useless as until this week I didn't have a spare), water, spare belts, old ratchet strap, gloves and no obligatory choccy.

Today I have nothing as I am looking at what to carry.

In the garage I have mustered half shafts, diff (needs bearings), full professional socket and tool set for the car, lights and hockey trims.

I will have in the boot when I build a compartment/storage system the following,

2m strop
Shackles
Tool set in a case
Hi lift
Winch gloves
Spare belts
A bit of spare brake and clutch fluid
Oil and water (Esperanto containers lol)
Assorted little of and sods

Nothing too much unless I venture some distance from home and on my own. The least I need to do is get back to a road and then get recovered!

Mine might sound impressive - but its more to do with me being a lazy fecker and not taking it out of the Disco!

Plus, the missus wanted to put the Chrimbo decs up a few weeks back so I had to move my gear out of the front room.

I doubt I'll get away with chucking it all back in there - so it'll be a slow drip drip back to an emptyish disco!

rags, toolbox, wd40, tent you never know how long ur gonna get stuck for :), jump leads, spade, oil filter, fuel pump and toothbrush lol. i have a few more bits in there mainly old crap just cant think off the top of my head
