Arse!
The copper pipe, I know its bigger than brake lines, I need to reroute mine as it sits too close to the turbo and its boiling the clutch fluid.

It's not copper as standard I don't think?
There was enough slack in mine to move it over out of the way of the downpipe and poprivit another homemade pipe/hose bracket to the footwell.
I also wrapped the downpipe in exhaust wrap, you can hold the downpipe on a hot engine with that stuff.

I will try some exhaust wrap, when I built the clutch pipe I made the damn thing too short so it needs doing. I can see where the pipe was being burned, its black, this was causing the clutch pedal to lose resistance when pressed after a good hard drive on the main road.

It's awesome stuff.
I did mine around 10 yrs ago and it's still perfect.
Mine was a disco conversation and the actual turbo isn't an issue it's the Steve parker downpipe that is very close to the footwell and the pipe.

Coolio, I will try some and see if it helps, I do think my turbo might be getting too hot, time for as full service I think.
