What number in the production line !!

so ive just got a 110 defender that was first registered in april 1983 and would like to know what number in the production line it was as it should be V early , anyone know how i cant do that ?

Chassis number?
Another idea is I have an early 1958 series 2 workshop manual and parts book and they both list the relevant chassis numbers to 1958, so an early 90/110 manual may do the same.
Like this from the 1987 110 parts manual
