Freelander 1 What now!!!!

2004 HSE 125k TD4
Hello to all, i hope everybody is well.

3 months ago my FL had.....on the front
2 control arms.
2 Drop links
2 bearings
2 shocks
2 top mounts
2 tie rods

Now develped a clunk not very loud more noticable on small irregularities....like something is loose.
I have to admit i havent check the under the car but the sound is familiar it was there before all the replacements i did. So the silence lasted for 33 months...What can be ?
First i thought drop links like somebody said they fail no matter the brand...but i guess drop links sound louder.....
Any ideas?

Drop links can fail very quick. 2 bolts each side to remove, try with them off.

Check shock absorber top nut, they sometimes seem to settle and loosen.

Very true, hadn't thought of bolts loosening, although it happened to me. Wheel nuts not done up and knocking got worse.
