i was getting 24.5 on computer driving up from leicester last week which when calculated back on fuel used and full tank refil etc was near as dam it correct as well... about 65/70mph cruise also ...

My 4.6 thor can get 22 if i'm steady (i run mostly on LPG but dont think this affects the computer?). Since getting a Janspeed cat-back exhaust my right foot has got heavier though :D

Hmmm just looked it up, £473 for a full system, that's good value. What's it like on a cruise? Reasonably quiet? Back in the old Golf racing days I used Janspeed and Ansa because they were quiet until you caned the car. Got any sound clips? :)

My L 332 would return 21mpg on M25 from Heathrow to Erith (A2 area) in early mornings before most traffic and in rush hour traffic on the way home. Last trip didn't use any at all. Don't have info for recovery vehicle.

Edited for reality. :D:D:D

Just taken the L322 round the M25 to Bluewater then onto Lakeside - her in doors thought we should celebrate the fact it is repaired by spending more of my hard earned!!! :D

So she has just spent more than you saved by doing it yourself. What did you expect a pat on the back? :):)

Why Bluewater THEN lakeside? Aren't they identikit generic mega shopping centres with the usual high street retailers in them?

The last time I got talked into going to Lakeside just before Christmas, we got stuck in a huge queue to get out of the car park, there wasn't much coming in because it was near closing time, so I drove up a really steep grassy embankment surrounding the carpark onto the main road saving about 30 minutes! - That's what's having a proper capable off-roader is all about! :D I'd like to see a CR-V try that - it would have ended up on its roof!

Cos the Boots in Bluewater didn't have the Jimmi-Jams pyjamas she wants in the Small - so we went to Lakeside to see if they had them...

£30 on a pair of fecking pyjamas - come on!!

Great plan on getting out and beating the Crimbo Queues - Wanna try that then sit there and watch the mock 4x4's try to do the same!!:D

Hi Stuckagainsteve,

Sorry for the delay.

I got my Janspeed system from ebay (roadrunner). A really good peice of kit. Just the right sound. You can hear the V8 burble on tickover. Very nice tone at 2000rpm & not too loud on the motorway. Rangie seems to run smoother - especially on acceleration.
Will have to get some soundclips when i get a minute.
