:D:D:p ere the old girl gorra mention, yeah tis been a while since its seen a traffic jam or awt like it,
dunno what it will make of modern traffic when its back on the road? :rolleyes:
 
surely the answer has to be a home made hybrid? standard landies are about the best off road vehicle there is (apart from the gaylander, thats a hairdressers car and classes 2 wheels on the pavement as off-road) so if you start with a standard landy then tweak it surely it will be better than a standard car? put a standard 90 up against a hybrid with a tuned V8, front and rear winches, bigger off road tyres, more suspension travel allowing bigger articulation, snorkel and so on then of course it will be better? a standard car is a compromise, a hybrid is built to live off road.
 
my disco 300 tdi as ive got no money to pay for the welding done to it so its at the garage waiting for me and its got no mot, so mines OFF ROAD champion!:doh:

hybrids are just the ultimate advancement off a 4wd rover .
over here at the moment 1st in class F is a series 1 running v12 bmw bolted to a mr2 gearbox on coils very cool truck
