While investigating my recently purchased Discovery 2, TD5, I found that part of the inner rear wheel had corroded and dropped off. I've tried to find the name of the part that I need in the Haynes and other manuals but can't. Can someone please tell me what the part is called? I've attached a photograph below.
I assume that the function of this component is to protect the brake disc from debris.
Since it is not in the Haynes manual, is it an easy job to re-fit?
Thanks,
Andrew

google ftc4778 though personally i prefer to leave off

I left all four off when i replaced the wheel bearings last year. I've have noticed no difference, and they are a ridiculous price for what they are.
