What is this bit called please?

I am trying to find out what the broken piece of dash on my 90 is callec so that I can try to replace it, please help!
It's the bit that the speedo etc screws into on the right hand side, mine is smashed so it's barely holding on!

Raptor make both the binnacle & binnacle mount (not a good photo but all I have to hand) and I can testify that they are well worth buying and are far more durable that the plastic originals.

I'm thinking about the binnacle itself now as well, is it easy to swap it all over?

Yes, very easy.

I've got both as well - as above, excellent bits of kit and well worth having.

If that's sorted can I ask another " what's this bit called " question here
or should I start somewhere else?
I have a fairly heavy canister mounted on the inner wing (right side) it has a vacuum hose coming out of it and a throttle cable coming out of it
I want to get rid of it along with the rest of this egr stuff here but feeling shy as I can't figure out what it is or does or even what it called
Any ideas here?

It was arranged so that the cable pulled when accelerator was released it was wired in to the engine harness and plumbed into brake vacuum could it be an accessory for trailer brakes car has a hitch or could it be some sort of accumulator to hold vacuum for the brake servo?
