What is this? And what do i need to do to make it work

Hi all ive got my self a manifold and a pair of stongburge carbs ready to go on my engine but one of the carbs has a auto choke on which i have never seen and know nothing about (The Green thing in the pic). it also has some wires coming off(also in the pic).
where do these wires need to go to.

The carbs and manifold have come from a RR and there now going into my 90 so ive got to plumb all the wiring in.

that manifold and carb set up is not from a land rover engine.
i would the unessecary items and follow the manual picture

remove all the linkages get the land rover manual and the parts book and order the linkages you are missing to make it a manual choke and correct throttle linkage then when you fit it you will need the carb adjuster kit and a carb balancer to balance the carbs then set them up

cool thanks ive fitted its all today and had one go at trying to start it just incase it did but nothing.

What is this? And what do i need to do to make it work
