Freelander 1 what is mean?

Well I've never seen that before on a KV6. I wonder what quality the fuel is there. I'm not surprised it didn't run properly.

thanks for supporting me, but there Little little problem like engine amount need to change after that I need to check gearbox
but I can arrange that but with your experiences

Hi Elameed, that is seriously bad !.
That is about the worst catalytic contamination I have seen. The cause of that is neat petrol (un-burnt petroleum) being passed through the engine. It cause the catalytic converters to become severely contaminated and eventually block. Small amounts it can cope with as the heat and construction causes a self cleaning effect. Large quantities of fuel it cannot. - for example - when an engine doesn't start and continued attempts are made over a prolonged period. Sometimes the effect can happen fairly quickly, other times it may progress over several week or months.
My wife had a similar issue when she put petrol in her diesel Citroen AX. . When mainly petrol was being injected the engine lost power causing lots of un-burnt fuel to pass into the cat'. She then tried repeated attempts to get ti to start (passing more pure petrol into the cat. Then the AA guy did the same..... After I finally drained the petrol (convenient roadside drain) and filled with diesel, it ran fine for about 3 weeks then lost power progressively over about another 3 or 4 weeks then would not start - the cat was just like yours...

Our Daughter uses a very good mechasnic in Tubli, Bahrain, but dont know the address, all I know it"s near the Water works there.

I know this mechanic , but after happened to my car I never trusted to anyone, I will make it my self
more than 3monthes I suffering with Mechanic

Not many people on here trust mechanics and we largely live in the same country as that the car was built in...
