After routing around in the back I’ve found the LR D3 jack and associated bits and bobs etc but no locking wheel ppfffttt however in the rear passenger side there what appears to be a pipe/ cable with what looks like a half can size plastic object on the end of it tucked behind where you would change the lamps etc I’ve tried to pull it out but it’s not moving. What’s annoying is that when I go over a speed bump because the item is not secure it bangs against the rear panels

what is it?

thanks

Could it be compressor inlet filter? wrap it in a piece of foam, loosely so it can still do its job.

As for locking wheel nuts, but a full set of 20 new cheap ones off of ebay and throw all the rest away.
The lockers are well known for fcuking up and leaving you stranded and the other 16, the steel but swells up and expands inside the stainless cover so the 22mm socket will not fit, again leaving you stranded!

No one will nick your wheels as jacking a D3/4 up can be a dangerous business.

hi

indeed it’s the air filter inlet for the suspensions air compressor

There are 2 x filters inside which can get dirty , if they are really dirty can prevent the suspensions air compressor from taking air in

U can actually move the filter away from the body , if it keeps knocking cable tie it in such a way that it won’t hit anything

hope that helps
