What holes?

I recently put a disco (200tdi) transfer box into my 300tdi 90 (was after another defender t/box but this one was readily available and I got it for nothing). Every thread I read on here says that I have will have to drill and tap 2 m8 holes into the disco t/box for the handbrake assembly, but I just stripped the handbrake of the defender t/box and it bolted straight onto the disco box, have I missed something?

nope, some casings are drilled, some are drilled and tapped and some aren't even drilled - you got lucky
