What have you found in your landy?

So after reading Elan23's ongoing refurb of his ex mod 90 and his recent find of a MOD spec can opener and a dinner knife it got me wondering what's the most interesting this you've found in your land rover's cab?

Not very interesting but 2 screwdrivers, 3 spare bulb kits and a old flyer for some country house

Never found much of interest in a landy. Except the usual detritus you expect in a working vehicle.

But we did once buy an old car, had a very strange smell, which we couldn't clear with air fresheners and cockpit product!

Eventually we discovered a complete, still wrapped, portion of fish and chips under the back seat squab!

.22 live shells, which had found their way into the bulkhead heater channel - could have been interesting! previous owner was a huntin' shootin' fishin' guy.

i found a load of the halfords proffesional range ratchet spanners in the 110 i bought the other day "o ta very much!"

found a complete dead squirrel under the handbrake area once ... that was pretty rank

A series I bought came with £32.60 [twenty pound note and change] lost behind the dash and a blankety blank checkbook and pen!

Flies for fishing one of which is in the headliner and a handful of used shotgun cartridges as it used to belong to a game warden which is also why it's blue on the inside and sprayed green allover on the outside

Not sure which is worse the dead squirrel or the fish and chips!

Worse? The maggots seemed to be really enjoying the fish and chips!

Never found anything cool in a car that I've bought but is I did loose a spanner under the bonnet of a focus I serviced once, 12 months later that car came back in and load and behold the spanner was still there!

Slightly worrying that they hadn't noticed it or lifted the bonnet in 12 months really!

Found a live shotgun cartridge at the bottom of the dash of my old S111.

My current 90 just came with a few (spent) SA80 blank cartridges.

I went travelling for 5 months and when i returned there was a fully formed wasps nest just hanging out in the back of my landy

I found two blister packs of Viagra by the ECU in the Defender I bought in Oct, and a couple of quid under the third seat.

Some live rifle bullets. Dont know where there from but will have to put a photo up here for ID.

two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-coloured uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls.

I recently found an un-opened can of Rubican behind the cubby box my son had left in, it must have been in there for weeks but as i was working in a very hot garage i couldn't resist

Never found anything interesting in mine, but I was surprised to find a large clump of grass growing happily attached to the chassis

Mine was empty, the previous owner had just rebuilt it. But there's a mobile phone number written on the back of the sun visor with a smiley face sticker beside it.
