I did not have alot of time yesterday but decided to do the last two suspetion bolts. Had a attempt and decided that they were not going to move (I ain't a small lad but even be jumping up and down a bar was not making them move!) so i decided to get the grinder out and cut through the shackles.

Then tested it by getting some foam and letting it get sucked onto the grille as my hands weren't big or flexible enough to cover it properly. Amazed ... engine so strong the pipes collapsed and the pipe to the turbo pulled off, so the engine didn't actually stop ... shows the power of vacuum the engine puts through the airbox!

1. Got it MOTed - it passed without even an advisory:D:D. Smoke test way down on last year. Not bad for 12 years old and approaching 150k.

2. Gone to take serpentine belt off to investigate the noise that started recently and realised straight away that the belts well past it's sell by date - easy fix hopefully!!

Bolted the front wing back on, painted some grill trim matt black, had two cups of tea and a natter and then went home:)

fitted a new manifold gasket as the old one had split from top to bottom on the first inlet, fitted new injector spill rail and new rear shocks as the last ones were ****e.
drives much better an pulls like a train again:5bparty:
