Straightened, fitted, and painted the rear brake pipe T piece bracket, fitted a new T piece and painted the rear radius arms as the bushes ( pollybush ) are better looking than the ones fitted to mine ( rubber ) but will be replacing all bushes with a full polly bush kit when replacing the chassis early next year

Fitted all new door lock barrels, fed up of being able to break into my own landy using a 5p piece. I may drive it like I stole it, but im hoping nobody else will.

Brake and clutch fluid change. Went round all the brakes with vacuum extractor and pulled all the old fluid through, followed by the fresh stuff. Them sucked about 300ml through the clutch system as well. I was assisted in this by Martyn110, who filled the reservoirs while I sucked the fluid through.

But over the last week I've rebuild this lt77
Never done one before but went surprisingly well.

New bearings, Baulk rings, gaskets/seals and main shaft. Ooh no more output shaft wear

Built it all back up into the centre plate.

Stuck the main casing on.

Painted in 2k satin black.
New bearings, Baulk rings, gaskets/seals and main shaft. Ooh no more output shaft wear
Assembled new main shaft.
Built it all back up into the centre plate.
Stuck the main casing on.
Extension case fitted and it's done
nice work wish I had the time and money to do that.
did manage to get the internal door handle working again after it failing once I had done the lock spring on the nsf door. then got my ball and pin tow hitch fitted in place of the borrowed one. then with the help of my mate fitted new vented discs to the front to match the replacement calipers properly and fitted his tow hitch I had been borrowing back to his truck so fairly productive day today.

Wasn't too bad price wise to be honest. Think the bits came to £182. Plus some primer/paint and a few consumables, Probably £200 all said and done.
I can see a little future for you there aaron in reconditioning all are gearboxes for us all

Started a leisurely stripdown of Drover ready to do the boot floor/sills in about a few weeks. Got the boot stripped back to the metal as I want to do a tidy job of it. You know coat it and paint it up to the windows and maybe route some cables for power etc so that I have options in the future.
Thought I had better start the 200tdi 110 as I haven't used it or moved it since July ish. Connected the battery and it fired immediately. Remarkable!
I took it for a drive, and as the fuel gauge doesn't work and I have only filled it once since buying it, I had no idea how much was in it. Only took £40; reset the trip. I wonder how far a full tank goes?
Its a loverly drive since I changed the oil and removed the spare wheel from the rear door.
