What have you done to your Landie today.

Fitted two of my new(ish) tyres to my spare set of wheels.

The beads were a bugger to break, I ended up using my high lift jack under the tow bar, had to go all the way around before they freed off.

Getting the tyres on was easier but still not simple, I'm thinking of paying to get the other two done

that wasnt a bite - merely a passing glance .

Got most of the hub disassembled, taking the stub axle off tomorrow to get that pesky seal. Brake drum was coated in oil

So many leaks these days. I am pretty sure every part of the vehicle that contains oil leaks. N joke! I seem to be always changing seals. Time to replace some metal bits I think...

went to boston again today with the truck A1 A16 A17 saw a couple of disco's but didn't get any return waves or flashes will try again tomorrow lol

Fitted the other two tyre's today and offered them up to see how much clearance I haven't got

Still painting it- nearly finished now. Soon the White Elephant will be back to its original colour

Put some diesel in and got it running, started first turn even after months of standing outside and engine out etc.
Fitted heater box and got clutch bled, all works thank the lord.
Sorted a bit of wiring out and fitted master cylinder, accelerator pedal and cable and new pedal rubbers

took mine to boston again today for my trailer test. got a pass with only 1 minor so can now legally tow upto 3.5 ton with my shiny new b+e license

Both sunroofs now out and on the shed floor. Let the cleaning and prepping begin!

Phoned up the garage and asked them if it was fixed.

Reversed into it with a telehandler broke headlamp dented bonnet .
50/50 mine & wifes fault [ one of us didnt listen ]

left mine at work to bring the terrano and trailer back to drop the trailer in for servicing then pick a college up on the way into work in the morning saves my fuel

Today I have mostly been cursing the evil genius that put the poxy little spring in the door locks on the Disco 1. Having to take most of the drivers door out to then try and remove the lock is not the most fun thing to do! But at least I now have a door the unlocks in the central locking again - and the window goes up and down properly as well now (more of an accidental achievement though as I didn't actually set out to sort the window it was just a happy addition!

Taxed and insured so if can go green laning tomorrow!!!
