erm not sure where my lad is off with it not far i don't think as i had a bit of a problem with the rear caliper this morning coming home from work it chucked a bolt out!!! so it's got another bolt fitted but it's not as tight as it should be until the people who did it last time sort it this time! (had loose clanking calipers so the bolt holes had to be helicoiled)

You will have a cracking time in that roof tent it's a bit awkward if your like me and you need a pee in the middle of the night.
 
Finally finished fitting the axle. Replaced the drag link and fitted a new water pump. Jobs a fish. Just need to fill with coolant, re-fit front prop and clear all my tools away. Thank god its back on the road!
 
I have just spent 3 full days giving my Disco its 14th birthday present - a good wash, full body T Cut and a really good waxing. I' m exhausted but I hope that will last for another 14 years!

that's the bit that worries me lol although when i go camping i have a bog in the bag thing not sure that will work in a roof tent with springy mattress!!! might get a catheter fitted lol
 
I've got nothing to fix on my landy now! I'm going mad!! All this time off and no landys to play with I'm feeling like a normal boring person!! :Cry:
 
Adjusted the drum brakes and was going to nip up the front o/s bearings, but can't get the FN wheel off!

Even managed to shear my short extension bar!! :(
 
Nothing on mine but last night leaving the pub the old mans alternator on his 300 was making nice noises so we fitted a new unipart jobbie which involved changing it from lh to rh lots of fun then fitting a fan without offsetting the pulley and changing the pulley well it's done and no more noise!!
 
Just picked up my x reg disco v8. Missed having a landy parked outside and missed the v8 burble. Even though its not noticeable inside. Now need play with all the toys on it
 
Finally got around to replacing the old front door window sliders on bith sides :)
Replaced the front grill with a much nicer one with fresh black paint on.
 
adjusted doors so hope they seal better against new door seals, the stripped windscreen hinge assembly as it leaks, and found no gaskets fitted, just sealant added on the inside...grrr bodges! less than a quid for new gaskets so why the bodge!! anyways will order parts and sort properly :)
Also tested my new tyre compressor...nice :)
 
Painted the horse trailer to match the landy well happy.
