done some prep work for refitting swivel housing etc

made it run , found one last leak and wired up the fuel sender

I have seam sealed round the welds on the footwell I've welded in and cleaned years of underseal, oil and crud off my steering box column ready for the new top bearing, hopefully arriving tomorrow.

New track rod end fitted, took a little play out the front near-side wheel bearing and swivel pin. One shackle bush to do and she's ready for the mot.

Made a plan for picking up the ambulance...

Involves taking some hub seals, a full compliment of fluids and filters and a pre-booked mot

I'm off to mess with the V8's wiring and timing, need to order a new barrel too…….pulled a muscle in my back so probably wont be fitting the exhaust til tomorrow

Loaned it to the missus ...

Took her Mondeo for an MOT, failed on a lower front suspension ball joint .. so that's the 'tapping' she said she could hear then!!

Ah well, new one bought and car stripped as far as I can till me decent tools return in the back of the Disco!!

About to go mess with the timing…..again

Used it to take some stuff to the tip and marvelled at how much warmer it is with a truck cab on

Fecking typical just sorted out the battery cable with a nice new lug and it starts raining…...

Not today but yesterday started work at 6 finished at 3 then disco straight in garage at work and replaced swivel seal and replaced bearings finished at 11 last night (fecked isn't the word)
Only the other side to do now!!!!

Fitted the exhaust, sorted the idle (more or less) and sorted a bit of the wiring

Sprayed some primer on my new footwell, starting to get some ware if I get a little bit done every night. Half an hour workshop tidying now.

superglue is also handy as the green filters hold in the bulb holder, so these had to be fitted back on

Should have just fitted white leds they turn the dash blue with the green filters intact.

Discovered why me brakes have gone to ****e. SErvo Vacuum Pump is spewing Oil everywhere. But I've sourced a replacement so hopefully all will be sorted tomorrow.

Primed up my new wheels ready for paint tomorrow afternoon.
